Came across this site has some interesting cartplayer software on it.
Don't know if it's already been posted but couldn't find it with a search.

Charlie's done some great work with his software, add-on's, etc

I've just tried this PC cart software and it works like a dream. There's no manual, so you need to figure a bit out by yourself.

Enough chat . . . go press some cart buttons and have some fun . . .

I've been playing around with the demo version off DAC Cartwall not bad it's had an update a few days.

I'm still building at my system must be 8 months now, finding the time to work at it is a problem but I'll get there, Just got the computer system left so playing around with software to find out what I like.

Sean,

that "jingleplayer" you uploaded is great fun to use. I was a bit slow at first, couldn`t get it to work but after a few goes it`s real easy to work, just drag and drop WAV/MPS files into the cart slots and they playout just like a cart machine !

Thanks for the comments on the software - although I was a bit gutted to find out that somebody had beaten me to the "Sonifex" skin!

Charlie your sonifex skin looks better I think...
But with 4x real sonifex machines to play around with I'm more interested in the cart wall for playing music only drawback I've found is that there's omly 3x players... unless you can load up more than one track & have them fire 1,2,3,1,2,3 coming out of a song into two maybe three jingles it would be nice to have another song ready to go if you were only working with the cart wall.
Just my thoughts, but your doing a great job keep it up.

Speaking of carts...nice little story here about a DJ called Ken Levine, pretending not to know what "carts" were, before doing the overnight show at WLS in Chicago...

Love it LOL.
Anyone in the US after a cart player in real good looking condition came across these Tomcats on ebay yesterday from Hollywood CA.

Nice looking machines & great close up shots of them.

Thanks for the comments, Harry. DAC Cartwall is intended purely as an instant playback application rather than a playout system. Typically, the 3 players are used for longer items like beds whilst you can then switch to "instant mode" and play drops/fx from the buttons via the 4th "slot".

Those Tomcat machines look rather nice, they had them at Essex FM back in the day.

Thanks for the reply Charlie,
I like the wall set up and I only want something to play around with at home.
I'm still looking around to see what's out there that I like.

A Sonifex cart machine set up has appeared on ebay today so if anyone is looking for one here's the link..
